Lisa Premke works as a feelance artist in Berlin. She studied Architecture and Fine Arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Akademie in Amsterdam (2003-2007) and completed an MA in Sound for the Moving Image at Glasgow School of Art (2009–2010). Her work spans large-scale audio visual installations, site specific works and sound design for audio books, film and theatre. In 2018 she was selected to take part of the Goldrausch project for female artists in Berlin. About her work she says: „I work with sound because for me it is not tangible, not clearly memorable and yet highly intimate. It is inexorable, since one cannot not listen. Sound for me is a possibility to link my abstract visual process with intimacy.
